It takes you on a journey through several of the nine realms, including Jötunheimr but not Asgard, as Magnus and his friends take on several different foes in order to delay Ragnarök. The plot was so much fun and full of action. Mainly because the book is about Norse mythology and I love Norse stuff but also because it’s about an older teenager. Mangus Chase and the Sword of Summer had me on board from the very first page. It’s a classic Rick Riordan book and it included all of the elements I love about his book. I will be reviewing this entire trilogy over the coming days so look out for those! It’s been a hot minute since I reviewed a Rick Riordan book so I won’t link to my previous reviews. Rick Riordan is an American author who is best known for his novel Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.
